Sorry if I'm sounding snippy, but I've been clicking/searching like mad around here and can't seem to find anything usable.

I need a *simple* *self-contained* example of the Advanced Edit/Insert template please, C# preferable. An XML data source will be fine.

I tried
http://www.telerik.com/support/kb/aspnet-ajax/scheduler/sample-project-of-the-customizing-the-advanced-template-example.aspx (the Q1 2010 zip file)

But got over 200 compile errors I think because of all kinds of missing dependencies and stuff.

Hello Paul,

Open the sample from the same kb article as a web site and copy the Telerik.Web.UI and Telerik.Web.Design assemblies to the bin. Then it should compile as expected, but let us know if you continue to experience problems.

Kind regards,

Since I just copied the files over to a new web app, I had forgotten to "convert to web application" to regenerate the "designer" files.

Since there's no "Mark as Answer" on non-admin posts:

THIS IS THE ANSWER
