Hi,
Ive just completed a prototype for our company that uses the Prometheus Dock Controls extensively. All went well and the company now want to go ahead and put it into production.
However - i cant find a link anywhere to buy the controls!
I presume this is because they are still in beta/rc stage?
Is there any kind of licence i can buy now that will enable me to use the controls without the nag message/in production?
I have read posts on this forum that suggest this is possible so any feedback from existing customers would be great.

Thank you for your interest in RadControls Prometheus.
The trail messages pop up whenever a free beta is being used. We provide complimentary licenses for RadControls Prometheus to all customers who purchase a RadControls for ASP.NET license. This complimentary Prometheus license is the same as the free beta, but no trial messages pop up. Other than that the functionality is the same.
If you decide to go ahead and purchase a RadControls for ASP.NET license, I would suggest that you purchase a Developer license with Subscriotion($999). With the subscription you will receive the next 3 major product upgrades including the full suite RadControls Prometheus for free. The suite is expected to come out with our Q1 2008 release.

I will be purchasing a licence later today :-)

My project has docks that can be dynamically created, containing user controls and all the state is stored in my sql server database.
It is based on your PortalSitevb zip example ( http://www.telerik.com/ClientsFiles/060812_PortalSiteVB.zip )
i dont see an example of this type of functionality in the released controls forum. do they support the loading of user controls like these ones?
what will i lose functionality wise if i go and use the released controls until Q1 2008? as im a little concerned on their reliability as they are beta.

RadDock Prometheus is stable enough for production. This link may be very useful for you to get acquainted with the beta tag matter and what it actually means. We have tested the control in most application scenarios and it works well, there are only few very interactive and complicated situations for which it is not best suited yet but we plan to implement client-side rendering for that matter. In the coming months some functionality will be added to the control such as resizing, but in general if you have your project working now with the trial version, you can go ahead and use the developer version for production.

When i buy the Rad controls Suite how do i get the key for the Prometheous suite. Do you email out that key or is it automatically included when i download the prometheous trial?

I got a link in my login area to download a full version of the prometheus controls once i purchased the rad suite.
They work really well for me so far.

As Guy pointed out, if you buy RadControls + subscription you should login into your Client.Net account, navigate to My Licenses -> My Purchases and be able to download the developer version of Telerik.Web.UI. Let us know if any problems arise.
