Hi,

Our end-users are having major problems when using bullet lists in the radeditor in IE9.
For example in your demo of radeditor with contentareamode=div, clear all text in the editor (ctrl-a, delete).
Then push the Bullet list button a couple of times (three at least for me). On the third click the bullets starts appearing in the top window!!!

There are other ways to get this behavior also...

Caesar

Hi,

Thank you for reporting this bug.

We will handle this unwanted behavior which appears when the content area is empty and will fix it. Here you can find the PITS Issue: Public URL.

I also updated your Telerik points for the bug report.

Please, let us know if you experience any other problems in DIV content area mode.

Kind regards,
Rumen

Hi,

Is there any workaround until it gets fixed?

Hi,

The problem is due to that the selection is lost when you click only on the Insert Ordered /Unordered list and the bullet is applied outside of the div content area, which is part of the current page. The only workaround is to switch back to the default iframe content area mode (ContentAreaMode="iframe") until our developers solve the issue in div mode.

Hi,

We have a lot of other things that are dependent on div-mode, so that is not an option.
Hoping for this to be fixed really soon...

We will do our best to fix it for the Q2 2012 SP1 release of RadEditor. The release date is not yet decided.
