Hi,
why does this so called "sprite" images in EditMode? I think that this is a bug.
See picture attached. Is still fixed? What can I do now?

I use this Telerik version 2013.1.417.40.

Thanks,
Mins.

Hello Mins,

I am afraid we are not able to replicate the issue locally. Can you replicate this behavior with any of our demos?
http://demos.telerik.com/aspnet-ajax/grid/examples/generalfeatures/columntypes/defaultcs.aspx

Please provide us the exact steps to reproduce the issue or open a support ticket send us a sample runnable application demonstrating the erratic behavior. Thus, we will be able to further analyze the problem and provide a proper solution.

Hello,

thanks for the reply.

I tested your demo, with long text. As was ok.
But I tested with me, after I inserted the Skin Metro with CssClass in RadGrid Tag, the error was gone. But if I remove CssClass, the problem is then to see. When the error I then all my scripts / CSS disabled, jquery too. No change.

So here is my approach (I have made new again in shorter version, and still found the error):
- New project in Visual Studio 2012 opened with your C # RadControls Web App (Default Skin left) - NET 4
- No added scripts / CSS etc
- RadGrid inserted, here is the code:
<telerik:RadGrid ID="RadGrid1" runat="server" DataSourceID="SqlDataSource1" Skin="Metro" PageSize="7" AllowSorting="True" AllowPaging="True" AllowAutomaticInserts="True" AllowAutomaticDeletes="True" AllowAutomaticUpdates="True" AutoGenerateColumns="False" OnItemDataBound="RadGrid1_ItemDataBound" CellSpacing="0" GridLines="None">
    <PagerStyle Mode="NextPrevAndNumeric" />
    <ClientSettings>
        <Selecting AllowRowSelect="True" />
    </ClientSettings>
    <MasterTableView HeaderStyle-CssClass="rgrid_header" CommandItemDisplay="Top" InsertItemDisplay="Top" DataSourceID="SqlDataSource1" DataKeyNames="contentId">
        <RowIndicatorColumn Visible="True" FilterControlAltText="Filter RowIndicator column"></RowIndicatorColumn>
        <ExpandCollapseColumn Visible="True" FilterControlAltText="Filter ExpandColumn column"></ExpandCollapseColumn>
        <Columns>
            <telerik:GridEditCommandColumn ButtonType="ImageButton" ItemStyle-VerticalAlign="Top" HeaderStyle-Width="10px" />
            <telerik:GridBoundColumn DataField="contentId" UniqueName="contentId" HeaderText="ID" HeaderStyle-Font-Bold="true" DataType="System.Int32" SortExpression="contentId" ReadOnly="True" ItemStyle-VerticalAlign="Top" Visible="false">
            </telerik:GridBoundColumn>
            <telerik:GridBoundColumn DataField="content" FilterControlAltText="Filter content column" HeaderText="Inhalt" HeaderStyle-Font-Bold="true" SortExpression="content" UniqueName="content" ItemStyle-VerticalAlign="Top">
            </telerik:GridBoundColumn>
        </Columns>
        <EditFormSettings EditFormType="Template">
            <EditColumn UniqueName="EditCommandColumn1" FilterControlAltText="Filter EditCommandColumn1 column"></EditColumn>
            <FormTemplate>
                <div class="column1"><p>Inhalt</p></div>
                <div class="column2">
                    <telerik:RadEditor ID="RadEditor1" runat="server" Content='<%# Bind("content") %>' Skin="Metro" Width="100%">
                        <Content></Content>
                        <Tools>
                            <telerik:EditorToolGroup Tag="MainToolbar">
                                <telerik:EditorTool Name="Cut"></telerik:EditorTool>
                                <telerik:EditorTool Name="Copy"></telerik:EditorTool>
                                <telerik:EditorTool Name="Paste" ShortCut="CTRL+V"></telerik:EditorTool>
                                <telerik:EditorTool Name="PasteStrip" />
                            </telerik:EditorToolGroup>
                        </Tools>
                    </telerik:RadEditor><br />
                </div>
                <div class="clear"></div>
                <div class="column1"> </div>
                <div class="column2">
                    <div class="editbuttons">
                        <telerik:RadButton ID="btn_update" runat="server" OnClick="btn_update_Click" Text='<%# (Container is GridEditFormInsertItem) ? "Insert" : "Update" %>' CommandName='<%# (Container is GridEditFormInsertItem) ? "PerformInsert" : "Update" %>' ></telerik:RadButton>
                        <telerik:RadButton ID="btn_cancel" Text="Cancel" runat="server" CausesValidation="False" CommandName="Cancel" ></telerik:RadButton>
                    </div>
                </div>
                <div class="clear"></div>
            </FormTemplate>
        </EditFormSettings>
        <CommandItemSettings AddNewRecordText="Neuer Eintrag" AddNewRecordImageUrl="/edit/img/add.png" RefreshImageUrl="/edit/img/refresh.png"></CommandItemSettings>
        <PagerStyle PageSizeControlType="RadComboBox"></PagerStyle>
    </MasterTableView>
    <FilterMenu EnableImageSprites="False"></FilterMenu>
</telerik:RadGrid>

And the error is seen again with long text(!) in EditMode or a SelectedRow. See JPG, the blue graphics of Metro.

But in my version with proper CssClass in the RadGrid Tag is not to see the error. I would like to have changed with the addition of my skin metro and CSS style, so as Skin Metro with CssClass. Therefore that's ok like that.

In the short version: Without skin and without CssClass worked. But once the skin is in, the error is there.

Hi Mins,

I have prepared a sample RadGrid web site using the provided code snippet  to test the described behavior. Please run the attached application and instruct us the exact steps to reproduce the issue.
