Switching from Classic to Auto or Lightweight render mode (e.g. "Telerik.Web.UI.RenderMode" value="Classic" --> "Telerik.Web.UI.RenderMode" value="Auto") seems to cause a break in most places where RadCombo box is used.
What about Lightweight/Auto rendering could be causing this?

Hello Corey,
Your observations are correct. There is a bug with the RenderMode Auto, when it is explicitly set in the configuration (markup) of the RadComboBox. However, the issue does not arise, when the web.config file is used for managing the RenderMode for the desired controls.
