Hi,
i would like to know if the audio language for captcha codes is available in non-english languages, and in particular for Italian, because our customers are experiencing some difficulties to understand the english pronunciation of the captchas.

Thanks and Regards,
Andrea

Hi Andrea,

We are not offering localization in Italian (or in any other language different than English) for the Audio files of the RadCaptcha. You can create your own files for every character, and use them instead.

Best wishes,

Hi Christian,

In order for the audio code to be generated correctly, there must be a .wav file for every possible character that can appear on the image and the file must be named as the character itself - [Char].wav (i.e. A.wav, B.wav, C.wav, 1.wav, 2.wav etc.). The files should be placed in the App_Data\RadCaptcha directory of your application or in custom directory after specifying it in the property CaptchaImage - AudioFilesPath.

Slav

Hi Slav
i got a new question, i have generated the wav files, the captcha is playing them now but between each sound it plays  a noise and i don't know why, is there a way to fix this noise. or  i have made something wrong in the files?

Thanks and Regards, Christian

Hello Christian,

Please ensure that the noise is not coming from the custom .wav files. I tried to reproduce your problem in this online demo because it uses custom audio files for playing the additional languages, but to no avail. You can also get the files from your local demos (folder LiveDemos\Captcha\Examples\Localization\FrenchCaptcha for french numbers) and try them out.

If the problem occurs only in the RadCaptcha and it is not related to the custom files, please send a simple, runnable project that includes them so that I can inspect your case locally and provide a more to the point answer.

Regards,
Slav

Hi Slav, we just solve the problem, one member in our team check the wav files and the noise dissappear, it seems that the problem was because of the size of the files

thank you
best regards

Christian
