I am creating / populating a hierarchy table at runtime. The data source and the columns generated are dependent on the selection of a radiobuttonlist. Sorting and paging works fine on the master table. I can get the master table to expand but it won't collapse when I click on the same parent row. It will collapse if i click on the paging on the nested table though. Also, I am not seeing any of the filter menu items either.

[Solved] RadDock Position

Hello everyone,

I have 2 rad zones with 2 docks in each one.
lets take one of these zones [ which has 2 docks ]
whenever I try to position the lower dock up in the zone it will go back down [ its not that I'm not placing it right ]

Any idea why its happening, and how to fix ?!

[Solved] Mispelled Word Blank

We have a public community website using ASP.NET with spellcheck currently running version 3.2.7.

Our administrator has reported infrequent and intermittent problems where the spellcheck has identified a misspelled word and provided alternative suggestions but the original word is blank. She did manage to provide one documented instance where

Not in Dictionary was blank
Suggestions list was Muckrake Muckraked Muckraker Muckrakes Macrocosm ....

Just below the Spellcheck window you can see the offending word was a surname - McCracken.

I have spent this afternoon trying to reproduce the problem unsuccessfully. Before I spent more time on it I thought it worth seeing if this behaviour had been seen by anyone else and if so whether there is a known solution.

I must own up this was allocated a low priority and has not been looked at for over 6 months at which time we were running radspell 3.2.4 so it is conceivable that whatever the root cause was the upgrade resolved it.

[Solved] Grid width on autogenerated columns

I just installed the lates telerik controls (Q2-2009) and now my grid is all squished into the page. Does anyone know what property I have to set to have the grid expand width-wise beyond the page so the columns all look natural?

nothing display under itemtemplate

i'm trying to do this and i have nothing display in the listbox . so how do i fix that. and then eventually i want to be able to move that a childnode in the tree in radlist to second radlist. the seocond radlist does not need to have a tree. so if the childnode in radtree in radlist1 get transfer over to radlist2, it will just be an item in radlist2. but i want to be able to move that item back to the childnode in radtree in radlist1 too. so how do i do that in a radtree in radlistbox. i think i might be better off with just radtree. but how do i reorder radtree or do transfer or double click just like radlistbox. or better yet can you change an item background or forecolor in radlist? can you help me please. thanks.

ItemStyle-Width Issue

Don't know if it's just me but after I installed the Telerik 2009 Q2 controls it seems like ItemStyle-Width's are ignored when I allow client resize.

Is anyone else experiencing this?

Width and Height of a Dock

Whenever I set the width and height of a dock, it will hide the dock's title and all controls in it and just appear as a grey block. Is there anyway to give a size to it while still showing its content fine as appearing in an overflowed container?

[Solved] Upload from edit template in grid

Hi,

Are there any examples of an upload control with progress bar working from a edit template in a radgrid? I know that I have to disable AJAX to do this and have tried the two examples shown in the workarounds in the help. The first workaround using a conditionalPostback function doesn't seem to trigger the upload but does fire the Update event.

The second workaround uses a realPostBack javascript function to do the post back. That one works in as much as the file is uploaded but then once the postback occurs the Update event doesn't get fired.

As mentioned on the first line, a working example a custom template having both the upload and the progress bar as well as a custom update function on the server to process the file would be very useful.

I've found many posts on this but none seem to quite match my issue.

Make Editor ReadOnly at design time.

I am building a review function where user can read the document and provide feedback without changing the text. But when user provides feedback, user selects the text, highlights it and writes comments in another text box. To achive this functionality I want the editor to appear with its tool bar (or may be without a tool bar) and contents in ReadOnly mode, where user can not change the text but may be able to change the formatting such as changing background color or forecolor. Is there any server side or design time setting I can use to have the page rendered the way I want it to work?
