How to show a custom UI in place of the New appointment form

Hi,

We are designing a project and using the Telerik scheduler.

Here our resources,users have extra fields and functionality. We have designed our own "booking" form with the required functionality and to save to our custom tables (need to store into 3 tables for our booking entitiy).

When we open the optoins it opens the default "New appointment" form. How can we open our Custom UI in place of the default form?

Textchange not working in firefox

Hi team,

Rad textbox TextChange property is not working in firefox ,but in IE cool.
The scenario : I have rad textbox which enters e-mail id and press tab or move cursor to another text box it should hit database and fetch relative data. can anybody give clue how to achieve

Object / Event Scope Problems

Hi all,

i've a general Problem with JavaScript Scopes.
In our Application we us a JavaScript Object. This is a simple Version of this Object:

So what we do is passing a RadTreeView Object to our Object Constuctor/init Function.
Then we want that our srcTree_nodeChecked Function is called when a Node is checked in the tree. Until here this works fine.
But
Our srcTree_nodeChecked function runs in another Scope. The function cant access the 'otherFunction' via 'this.otherFunction()';
This results in the ErrorMessage 'this.otherFunction is undefined.

Does someone know, how i can solve this probblem?

SetFocus on validation

I have three rad ajax text editors on a page. When user enters text I need to do some validation and based on that I need to set focus to one of the boxes. How can I do that?

I tried txt1.Focus(); but it does not work.

Also how can I limit number of words (not characters). I would appreciate any sample code. Thanks,

Grouping behaviour

Hello there,

i recently tried the grouping features of the telerik radgrid. I noticed that when collapsing a group of large date a text is written in the upper part of the grid "grouping continues on the next page" and the rest of the grid is empty. I think this is not a normal group behaviour because if a collapse a group on a page there should be the collapsed group (with aggregates) and the the beginning of the next group (expanded).

RadProgressArea inside ToolTIp

Hello,
I'm wondering if there's any possible way to have the ToolTip disappear, in for instance 6 sec, as opposed to using
the HideEvent property. I want to display the process of an uploaded file in modal view so a user cannot click
or disrupt the viewing process whatsoever. Thank you

Tools File not being read for some users

Hi All,
I have a strange problem in my application. I am using the Radeditor on a custom aspx page and it works fine for some users but not for some and throws me the following error and does not render the page

Could not find a part of the path C:\windows\system32\inetserv~\ToolsFile.xml

I have placed my ToolsFile inside the below given path

C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\wss\VirtualDirectories\800
where 800 is the port number for my application

Am i missing something here or is it some authorization issue for the other users?

custom display. One row of data broken into two rows

I am trying to get a radgrid to display in a VERY custom way. i am wondering if anyone can help. You can see in the comments that say THIS NEED TO BE THE DATA, what I am trying to achieve is each section <tr class="first", <tr class="second", <tr class="third"

This displays as three rows obviously, but out of the data it is really just one row of data. Is there an easy way that I can translate this into a rad grid? I have tried using a HeaderTemplate and ItemTemplate but it did not come out well. Any ideas?

Skin not rendering after AJAX/Postback requests

We are using the 2008 Q3 version of the AJAX controls. We have an editor on a page that is hidden when the page loads. We are using an ajax request to make it appear. It renders correctly and looks good the first time. However, if another ajax request makes the editor hidden and then we perform an postback, the next AJAX request to display the editor makes it render as a messed up unordered list with bullets down the screen. Needless to say, it can't be used at all. Is there a reason this is happening and a way to fix it? It almost appears that it outputs the necessary CSS and scripts the first time and then from that point on it doesn't think it needs to.

Ribbon bar and max page height

HI,
When I have Russel Mason ribbon bar on the page and i set whole page to 100% height, page have 100% + ribbon bar height, does anyone have the same problem?
