Hi,

I want to configure Radwindow as a clickable splash screen.

I have

<telerik:RadWindow ID="RadWindow1" VisibleOnPageLoad="true" Modal="True" NavigateUrl="~/images/splash.png" runat="server" VisibleStatusBar="False" VisibleTitleBar="False" Width="650" Height="500">
</telerik:RadWindow>

Some questions:
Is there a way to make the whole Radwindow object clickable?
When applying VisibleTitleBar="False the top part of the Radwindow has no corner images. Must I use custom skin to alter this?

Hi, I have a rotator setup with the following settings:

rotatorType="ButtonsOver" Width="690px" Height="120px" itemHeight="120px" itemWidth="220px"

so the rotator is showing 3 items in view at any particular point and is databound to 10-20 items.

Currently, if the user hovers a button to move the rotator, it moves one frame to the left. This isn't great in my scenario as I'm showing 3 frames at a time. Is there a way to make rotator move 3 frames to the left on buttonover instead of the default 1 frame?

Thanks,
Matt

Hello,

I have been experimenting with Telerik Ajax for a while - went to install it on a Win2008 server I have from GoGrid.

Got the following error message:

Title Bar: Telerik RadControls for ASP.Net AJAX A2 2009 SP1 Setup
Message: Error attempting to read from the source install database: C:\Windows\Installer\37e0da42.msi

I am logged in as administrator and have never seen a message like this before... any ideas?

Thanks.

Is there a way to combine the use of XMLHttpPanel with an ajaxUpdated RadToolTip?  I'm just updating the content of the tool tip and don't really need to do the ajax post back.  Is there a way to utilize the xmlhttppanel's benefits with something as simple as the tool tip?

Hello,

I have notice this pb some time ago: when I set localized values on  first non postback  as

ModuleProgressArea.Localization.UploadedFiles

="xxx";
they are not persisted and I get back the base values after soem postback..

I have already reported this but my radprogressArea was not visible, and I admitted it was the reason..
Now it is in a visible control and visible itself and I have same pb.

For me it is a bug, we should be able to set these values on start and forget them..

All my callback on my page are ajaxified but the last one so I don't know when to install these localized values.
If I set them on ajax call back, I have to include the radprogressArea in the Ajax Settings, and this is not good.

Thanks for clear process.

I have a horizontal radmenu that is placed in a contentplaceholder from a master page.  I have images as the menu items.  The items appear correctly in IE 7 & 8 but shift below in IE 6.  There are additional spaces in the menu after each item.  I downloaded 2009 Q2 sp 1 and still have the same issue.  Does anyone have any ideas?  I've been fighting this issue for a week now and this is my last resort.

I posted about this over a year ago. http://www.telerik.com/community/forums/aspnet-ajax/editor/absolute-positioning-not-working-in-firefox.aspx. Why is this functionality still missing? If you say Firefox can't do it, then why a product like Cute Editor can do it?
They have been doing it for years. Check out their demo. http://cutesoft.net/example/general.aspx.

Also the fact that the absolute position icon showing for Firefox users but doing nothing will confuse them.
