[Solved] How to freeze a column in the grid while horizontal scroling.

Hi,

Can anyone tell me how can i freeze a column in the grid while horizontal Scrollng.

In my application i have 4 columns and i need my first column should me always visible (freeze) while am doing horizontal scrolling.

[Solved] Get referente to parent control using rad window... need something equivalent to "window.opener"

Hello people,

First of all, sorry for poor English...

In a page, I have a dropdownlist and a radWindow...

I need to get a reference to this dropdownlist from inside the radwindow...

If the radWindow was a popup, I'd use window.opener.document.getElementById("dropDownListId");

I need something equivalent to "window.opener"...

How could I accomplish this task??

[Solved] Hierachic context menu

Hi!

I use Q3 2009.

When showing a hierachic context menu with more than two levels then all context menus on third level or higher are rendered above the previous level of the context menu. This means all levels except the first is hidden by higher level context menus, making it very hard to use.

Is this by design or a bug? Any solution?

[Solved] TimeLineView - Resource filtering

Hello,

I`m using the RadSheduler control for somekind of resource planning application. The
resources are on the vertical axis and the hours horizontal.
Just as in the webmail demo (calendar.aspx) i have a RadPanelBar that contains checkboxes
that correspond to the resource groups. Now i want to remove the resources when i uncheck
one of the resource groups. What is the best way to achieve this ????

Picking the Upload Location

I need a Telerik Guru to help me out. I have successfully deployed the trial for RadEditor to my MOSS 2007 site. The control works brilliantly. My problem comes when I am uploading items to a list rich text box. I would like these uploads to go into the correct attachment/item ID folder within SharePoint. I can hard code the files to go as far as the attachments folder using the list config file and image or document path. What I need to do is grab this information from SharePoint and give it to RadEditor for an upload location.

Any ideas on how I would code this in the xml config file?

[Solved] Default value for a GridDropDownColumn during Insert

I have a column represented by an GridDropDownColumn. Its data is really the value of an enum. I have a datasource that will return name/value pairs for the data for the dropdown column.

What I can't seem to find is how to set the default value for this GridDropDownColumn, when it is displayed for inserting a new item.

The list is populated with all the values from the dataset, but the first item is selected. Is there a way, other than changing the order of the data coming from the datasource, to set which value should be selected by default for the GridDropDownColumn?

2009 Q3 tabs next to a separator throw javascript errors onmouseover

Just installed the 2009 Q3 controls. Now when I mouse over a tab next to a separator, (IsSeparator="true") it will throw a javascript error.

Here is the javascript error. Error: 'className' is null or not an object

[Solved] Creating a Group Tab

Hi,

I'm looking at the group Tab control from Ext JS and I was wondering how I could do this with the Telerik Tab control. I can create the Virtical tab view but was wondwering how to place an Accordian control on the actual tab itself. Here's the link to the control I'm referring to.
