Every Telerik control is positioned well, but not the Grid. It is positioned well in FF, but not in IE7.

I have tried a lot to solve it over the last days but I am failing. The problem is that once I am changing something in the FF CSS it results in changes in IE and vice versa.

I am struggeling with the desing-time mode of the Grid. Only moving it manually in design-time helps positioning it in IE

Any hints are very much appreciated.

Hi Eveybody,

I built a page where there is a grid component, and then I accomplished to chage of its style. But I needed to put filter on the grid and I havent been accomplishing to change filter style of grid.

There are some columns on this grid, and there is a date column where there is a date filter for it. so the user clicks on date filter and he/she choose a date and then the grid is filtered with date that user choosed.

I have been needding to change this filter style, but I havent accomplished. The grid style is Office2007 and I setted this style with 

 

EnableEmbeddedSkins="false".

 

 

Also,  I need to set period of time the date filter, How can I do it too?

Has Somebody ever had this problem and situation? Can you help me, please?

Does anyone have any tips/tricks for improving export to Excel performance in radgrid?

I have a grid linked to a stored procedure in needdatasource.  The stored procedure returns data in 65 seconds and the grid is fully displayed 11 secs later (with paging).  The datasource is  54 columns and 38,000 rows.  I am very happy with this performance on the front end.




When exporttoexcel is called, the process to export is taking nearly 9 minutes.  With the first minute being the stored procedure.  The server is a quad core windows 2008 server.   Currently using build 1124.   Memory usage jumps approx 1.3GB during the 8 minute span which is my biggest concern at the moment.



The resulting spreadsheet is approx 27mb.  I realize this is very large, but the memory usage and time spent for the server to process just doesn't seem proportional.

I was wondering how to control the formatting of the file explorer control thru skins?

The skins directory for this control only contains a .gif file of what it looks like.  The only .Css file I see for the control is located outsides the skin directory.

When I change the control to use a custom skin I made, it will use it for the tree potion of the control; but the rest of the control will not be changed.

I want to be able to change the fonts and padding of the AddressBox of the control, but dont' see a way to do it.

Hi,

I've a radgrid with filters turned on. I found that filters are case sesitive. But in my project, they do not want the case sensitivity on filters.
For an item caleed abc, when entered abc or ABC , the filter should return the same result.
How do I enable this?

I'm observing strange behavior with the RadTextBox Multiline in firefox for the 2009.3.1103 version of the controls...

When typing into a multiline textbox, the textbox does not scroll as you type into the textbox.  The behavior does not happen in IE6,7,8, Safari, Opera or Chrome.

In my case, I have a 5 row Multiline RadText Box.  You Can continue to type, you just can't see what you are typing.

Anyone else see this happening?  This does NOT happen in the 2009.2.826 version of the controls.

if i click on any row the check box is checking out.. and if i click any other row other than the one seleted the checked one is unchecked and the selected is checking ..

if i particularly select /deselect check box alone it works fine.. but it is checking out when i click on the row of any column

how to remove the control on the row selection

I've a radgrid with gridclient select column.

I've paging turned on with pagesize 10.
My question is

1) when I select 2 items in first page and travel to next page and selct further 2 items, and click on delete , only the records from the second page gets deleted.
But I selected 2 records from first page too. so, how do I even make all items selcted across pages delted.
I don't want to select 2 records from 1 page, delete , then go to next page and again delete.
I want to select all items by checking the check box and delete should delete all the items selected across pages.
Pls help me with code samples in C#.
