Hi,
I have two questions (Both questions are for MonthView):
Q1: How can I remove/hide incative date number text in month view? For example: I want to hide date number text "28,29,30,31" as shown in the attached screen (red rectangle).

Q2: How can I show the first day of the month as only 1 not 01?

Thanks & Regards,

Hello Telerik:

I've just tested upgrading to 2009.3 from 2009.2, and it appears that the Horizontal Layout of Docks within a DockZone was lost.

I have a portal page that places DockZones within table cells.  While the table layout is configurable, I tested this with a simple three-cell layout.  The first cell of the table runs across the full length of the table with a colspan of 2.  The second and third cells are in the second row.  There is a DockZone in each cell.  The first cell has a DockZone with a horizontal orientation, where the other two cells have DockZones with vertical orientations.

Each dock is implemented by instantiating a User Control that is added to the ContentContainer of the Dock object.  In the top zone, the user controls contain a DIV that has a CSS class that sets their height and width to 75px.

In 2009.2, this rendered the docks in the top zone from left to right, each having a width of 75px.  In 2009.3, the docks go 100% across and stack, still with a height of 75px.

As an experiment, after creating the dock in 2009.3, I set the width of the dock itself to 75px via Dock.Style.Add.  This had no effect.

I can easily swap the 2009.2 and 2009.3 DLL's, and the behavior changes as I've indicated.

Can you assist?

Thank you.

Take a look at the demo at: http://demos.telerik.com/aspnet-ajax/grid/examples/programming/slider/defaultcs.asp
On page two it only shows one item.

Another possible bug on the same page:
Choose the Advanced pager and the dropdown to select the pager mode is not all the way visible. Page 2 seems to work in this mode however.

Hi,

I am using radscheduler to display events.  In weekview of radscheduler I have to change column header text (e.g. Sun,21) into links of that perticular day of the week.
I saw demo on telerik site where this functionality is implemented but I am not finding any way how to implement it in my project.
Please help me......

Thanks

I am trying to get the RADFileExplorer (2009.3.1208.20) to work with my customized FileBrowserContentProvider.

The FileBrowserContentProvider code is not the problem.  The problem comes in when I try to create a sub folder, it gives me the following error, even though I am NOT using the File Structure:

--------------------------
Message from webpage
---------------------------
The selected folder could not be created because the application did not have enough permissions. Please, contact the administrator.
---------------------------
OK
---------------------------

If I am uploading to the database I see no reason why the file should touch the file system.  How do I stop it from trying to access the filesystem?

Thanks!

Ok this is an odd issue.  I have been running ie8 for over 6 months with no issue then all of a sudden today I am getting verticle lines in the RadPanelBar on my screen.  It does not seem to be and issue for anyone else.  If I swiths to firefox I don't get the lines.  If I use Simple, or Vista screens I don't get the lines, but all the other skins I have tried I get verticla line in the panel bar, but only the first level of panel items.  When I expand a perent the childer do not have the verticle lines.  Any ideas?

In provided source code those things doesn't work and I don't understand why.

<MajorGridLines Visible="true" PenStyle="Dot" Width="1" /> should cause gridline to display, but it doesn't. Unless I set With more than 1 (2 works fine). But I need gridline of with 1.

<TextBlock Text="TestX"> should cause label to be displayed on the side. But it doesn't again. I don't get why.

Hello All,

I have a problem when sorting RadGrid which has Scandinavian characters (åäöÅÄÖ).
E.g. Columns below having following data are not handled correctly (sample case):

[Driver]  <-- Data not sorted properly -->
Räikkönen
Raikkonen
Ã…slund
Aslund

Rows Åslund and Räikkönen shuld be the last ones.

So, how could I tell RadGrid that it should support UTF-8 (or something else???) that sorting would work?

Below is my aspx and cs codesnippets

telerik:RadGrid ID="RadGridPersons" runat="server"
 AutoGenerateColumns="False" AllowFilteringByColumn="false" AllowSorting="True"
 SortingSettings-EnableSkinSortStyles="true" Width="80%" Visible="false"
 OnSortCommand="RadGridPersons_SortCommand" onitemdatabound="RadGridPersons_ItemDataBound">
 <MasterTableView CellSpacing="-1" TableLayout="Fixed" Width="100%"
 AllowNaturalSort="false" AllowMultiColumnSorting="false">
  <SortExpressions>
    <telerik:GridSortExpression FieldName="LastName" SortOrder="Ascending" />
  </SortExpressions>
 <RowIndicatorColumn>
  <HeaderStyle Width="20px"></HeaderStyle>
 </RowIndicatorColumn>
 <ExpandCollapseColumn>
 <HeaderStyle Width="20px"></HeaderStyle>
 </ExpandCollapseColumn>
  <Columns>
   <telerik:GridBoundColumn DataField="CustomerId"
    HeaderText='<%$Resources:Customers, PersonCustomerSearchResultHeader_CustomerNumber%>'
    SortExpression="CustomerId" UniqueName="CustomerId" Visible="false">
   </telerik:GridBoundColumn>

   <telerik:GridHyperLinkColumn DataTextField="LastName"
    HeaderText='<%$Resources:Customers, PersonCustomerSearchResultHeader_LastName%>'
    SortExpression="LastName" UniqueName="LastName" DataNavigateUrlFields="CustomerId"
    DataNavigateUrlFormatString="PersonCustomer.aspx?CustomerId={0}" Visible="true"
    HeaderStyle-Width="90" HeaderStyle-Wrap="true" ItemStyle-Font-Italic="true"
    ItemStyle-Width="90" ItemStyle-Wrap="false">
   </telerik:GridHyperLinkColumn>

    protected void RadGridPersons_SortCommand(object source, Telerik.Web.UI.GridSortCommandEventArgs e)
    {
        GridDataItemCollection Coll = RadGridPersons.MasterTableView.Items;
        var Items = from GridDataItem item in Coll
                    orderby e.CommandSource ascending
                    select new
                    {
                        CustomerId = item["CustomerId"].Text.ToString(),
                        LastName = (item["LastName"].Controls[0] as HyperLink).Text.ToString(),

                    };

        RadGridPersons.DataSource =
            (e.NewSortOrder == GridSortOrder.Ascending) ? Items : Items.OrderByDescending(x => x.LastName);

        RadGridPersons.DataBind();
    }

Thanks,

Michael
