Hi ,

Grid Mimimun Rows

Is it possible to set minimum rows displayed in a radGrid?
Example...two side by side grids
Left side data is only 3 rows and right side is 20
Pagesize on both is 8

Can the left grid be set to display the same number of rows as the right...even though empty?

Hierachical RadGrid filtering

Say you have a hierachical datagrid, is it possible to attach a RadFilter to GridTableView within the RadGrid so you can filter on these columns instead of the columns in the MasterTableView?

Line Chart Series from Data?

I'm trying to create a line chart that appears similar to the following screenshot, which I did in Excel.

Basically, as you can see, the first column contains the location ID. For each unique Location ID, the chart should generate a new series. The data for that series then appears in column 2 (date) and column 3 (tempurature).

Is there anyway to do this with Rad Chart?

Show Advanced edit form without allowing appointments to be editable

Hi-

I would like to use the advanced edit form to allow the users to change some resources/properties of appointments. However, I do not want the user to be able to edit the begin or end dates for appointments. I realize that if I set the RadScheduler AllowEdit property to false, the advanced edit form will not show. I cannot even call it from the server side with

RadScheduler1.ShowAdvancedEditForm(appt)

If I set the the AllowEdit property to true, I can show a customized edit form. However the user can resize the apponitments and move them in the scheduler, changing the start and end dates. Eventhough this does not actually persist changes in my application, I would prefer that the user not be able to change appoinments in this way.

Does anyone know of an approach for achieving this: prevent the user from resizing or moving appointments while utilizing the edit form?

How to tell difference between DeleteOccurrence and DeleteSeries

Hi,

I'm using RadScheduler with a custom DbSchedulerProviderBase. How can I tell, inside DbSchedulerProviderBase.Delete(RadScheduler, Appointment) method if user chose to delete just that recurrence occurrence or the entire serie?

Databinding javascript

Hi,

I have a databound radpanelbar and was wondering how I could bind a call to a clientside javascript function to individual panelbar items.

I have the following simple database table that the panelbar is bound to:

[ItemID]
[ItemText]
[ParentID]
[ClientSideFunction ]

The [ClientSideFunction] Field is the javascript call I need to execute when the panelbar item is clicked.

menu for radgrid with grouping enabled

Hi,

i have a radgrid and i have grouping enabled. Collapse and Expand are done server-side. I also need to use a menu when i click on a row in the radgrid. What would be the suggestion of doing this?

get_itemIndexHierarchical returns incorrect value when collapsed groups over

Seems that get_itemIndexHierarchical returns incorrect value when there are collapsed groups over the selected item.

I have an ajaxified radgrid with radcontextmenu that calls a function. In this function eventargs.get_itemIndexHierarchical is used to get the index. This is done according to your example with radgrid and radcontextmenu. Sender.get_masterTableView().get_dataItems()[index].get_element() is then called but returns null, which is not the wanted behaviour. Expand/collapse is done server-side and only the expanded items are transferred to the client as i can see. This is working when groups over the selected item are expanded.

Maybe there are other ways to get index of the selected item when using radcontextmenu and radgrid with expand/collapse server-side?

Problems with RadTabStrip within UpdatePanel/RadAjaxPanel

Hi Telerik Team,

I am having problems with RadTabStrip in an UpdatePanel/RadAjaxPanel in DNN user control. After first load of the page when page gets asynchronously postback by clicking a Button inside the tab, i get the javascript error because somehow tabstrip control added twice and the error message is:

Two components with the same id can't be added to the application

Is there some setting or other thing that I am missing to do this?
