I have a user control which has a radgrid and I load the grid on user controls page load event, and load it through a radtooltip control in my main page on a button click, When the user control load via ToolTip the page load event doesn't fire in user control, so my grid populating method in the page load and it doesn't work. please advice

RadPanelBar HeaderTemplate

I have created a HeaderTemplate for RadPanel by inheriting from ITemplate interface and binding the RadPanelBar dynamically. My HeaderTemplate contains a label and a RadButton. I just wanted to handle the Button click event(server-side) inside the HeaderTemplate. Can you please help me on this ?

I am able to handle the ItemClick event of the RadPanelItem but not sure how to handle the button click event separately. It will be great if you have some sample code for this.

[Solved] STOP rad editor refreshing on timer tick event

Hi.

I have a timer in a master page which refreshes every 5 seconds. this timer updates a small update panel on the master page and is used to show the users who are accessing the record (using the querystring variables).

THis works fine, always has worked fine and it is not a problem firing events an updating so frequently as the application is LAN based.

the problem that i have is that the radeditor is updating on the timer tick event. By updating, i mean, it is doing "something" which stops you from scrolling, typing, whatever you may be doing in the rad editor at the time of the update.

I DO NOT want to turn the timer off. i just don't want the rad editor to do anything on the timer's event. I only want the update panel that i have specifically set to update on the timer event to update.

How can i stop the rad editor from reacting to the timer event?

Check passwords and show image

Hi Telerik,

I had been working in desktop application development and recently switched to web development in ASP.Net using telerik radcontrols. I have no experience working with Javascript and came to know this forum is so responsive. My registration form contain a password and confirm password radtextbox. From client side how can I check if they match and provide a cross or tick image beside the second textbox.

Expand column not working as expected with 2013 Q1 release

Hi

We are trying to upgrade Telerik from currently 2011 to latest 2013 Q1 release. After upgrade we are seeing Expand button in few grids where we have not added. And few place it is not appearing though it is required there. Is there any common fix for this which I can do in one place.

When I added ExpandCollapseColumn-Display property then it is working fine but it would good if I can do change in place instead of doing at all grids.

EditForm position

Hi,

When using the EditForm the default position is to open the form above the grid items when inserting a new record, can this be changed to open below?

This page looks like it should allow it but it does not work

RadEditor validation dialogue

Hello,
In RadEitor i have inserted an image.Now when i select that image and click on image manager tool i am getting a message like,
you are trying to navigate to a non existing folder

i don't want this message .Can any body tell me how can i hide this message?
