asp.net page with radcaptcha is not loading up

We have integrated our registration web page with rad captcha control. Its working fine in most of the desktops. But in some desktops the page is not all loading it is showing "downloading 1 item". When we remove the audio captcha functionality there, its working fine. Please can anyone help in solving the issue.

Could you please provide more information about the issue?

• What browser and its version is used on the desktop machines where the problem is reproduced?
• If the browser does not support HTML5 <audio />does it have quick time plugin installed that is required for the Captcha's audio code to play?

I believe the item that is downloaded is the captcha's audio code file, and this is expected behavior, because the browser has to request the audio file before actually it is played.

Thanks for your quick response,

We had compared the browser version with desktops in which it works and in which it doesnot work, both are same-IE 7.0.5730.13. What else could be the reason for such behaviour.

Hi Sonia,

Could you please check if the non-working machines have Quick Time plugin installed for their IE7 browsers? This plugin is required for the audio code file generated by the RadCaptcha to be played correctly, so make sure that it is installed.
