But my doubt is can we develop a ipad compatible web application using Telerik ASP.Net AJAX controls without using asp.net MVC.

Hi Suneetha,
Indeed, you can develop your ASP.NET application using RadControls for ASP.NET AJAX. And it will work both on desktop and mobile browsers. But if you need controls which are designed for mobile, try Kendo UI Mobile.
