What do I need to do to implement a silverlight control into an Asp.Net application?  We currently own the ASP.NET ajax controls only.  Do we need to purchase the Silverlight package as well?   Will users accessing our website need to have Silverlight installed to view our charts if we use a Silverlight control?

Hello Jeff Grol,

Yes, you would need the RadControls for Silverlight suite. You can contact our Sales department for details on the upgrade possibilities.

Yes, Silverlight  works just as Flash and needs a plugin to be installed for the browser to display Silverlight content. This should not worry you because the Silverlight plugin is only 6 megabytes and it is already widespread. It can easily be downloaded and installed on first load of your web page by the users if they do not have it.
