Hi,

I am using the latest  2008.3.1125.20 build of RadControls and have a problem with the Scheduler not showing a new appointment in the correct time slot.

I am using a RadWindow to add and edit Appointments, and this appears to all be fine until I have a Scheduler with 6 minute units (for use by one of our Legal Clients, who record time in 6 minutes).

An example is when a time is entered against 09:48 for a single 6 minute slot, and when the Scheduler is displayed the time is shown at, for example 10:56.  If I refresh the screen the Appointment then shows in the correct time slot, but my next Appointment will then be displayed incorrectly again until the page is refreshed.

The effect seems to be mainly seen when a User has to scroll down the Scheduler to add an Appointment later in the day, when it seems to then display in the wrong time slot.  Editing an appointment shows the same behaviour.

After some more experimentation I have found that it seems to be caused when the Scheduler is fixed and scrolls within the page.

I have not tested this with any standard Appointment editing but can reproduce every time using my Appointment window.  If you would like I can provide a url to the application running on a hosted server which exhibits the behaviour.

A quick update.

I uninstalled  2008.3.1125.20 and rolled back to 2008.3.1105.20 and this now works as expected, so it looks like it's a change of behaviour in 2008.3.1125.20

Hi David Penny,

Can you please open a support ticket so we can send you our latest internal build? We recently fixed a bug in RadScheduler that sounds similar to the scenario you are describing.

what exactly do you mean by steps to reproduce the other issue.
the problem is

i have an appointment which has a start time of 5 PM and end time of 8 PM.yet this appointment shows up as starting at 5 PM and ending at 6:45 PM.
is there a property that i may be enabling or disabling unknowingly which is causing this issue?

i have set the minutes per row property of scheduler to 15,Row Height to 12px and TimeLabelRowSpan to 4.
A 2 hour appointment from 6 PM to 8 PM is showing up as 6PM to 7:30 PM because the appointment is displayed based on its duration which is 2 hours.

the problem is
the scheduler doesnt consider that the Row Height and minutes per row have been changed and the appointment height should be appropriately adjusted.
the scehduler renders a 2 hour appointment asuming that minutes per row is 30 and height of row is 25 px(which is default).therefore the appointment appears to be shorter than 2 hours(6PM to 7:30 PM)
i hope this information is helpful for you to fix this issue

thanks
