Hello

I am not sure if this an issue with my PC or a possible problem with Telerik RadWinow as I have not been able to recreate it on another machine.

I am using IE 7 and when I have a modal rad window open if I click the "X" on the main browser 100% of the time IE will say "internet explorer has stopped working" and then will freeze for a little bit and then restart.

I have tested this on a couple of other PCs and don't get the problem, so I am just wondering if anyone else has come across this or can I just ignore it and assume its a quirk of my PC?

Thanks

Bex

Hi Becky,

I don't recall such problem being reported before. Do you experience the same issue when using our demos? If you want you can open a support ticket and send us a live URL along with login credentials so we could try your application from our side as well.

Hello

Thanks for your response. It doesn't happen with all your demos, but if you go to this one:

http://demos.telerik.com/aspnet-ajax/window/examples/browserdialogboxes/defaultcs.aspx

I have tested the "radalert dialog" and this one has the problem.
Just open the dialog and then close the browser.

If it makes any difference I am running IE7 with the exact version; 7.0.6001.18000IC

Thanks

Hi Becky,

I checked our support archive and so far, except you only one more customer has reported such problem (again with IE7) but we were not able to reproduce the problem then. This leads me to believe that the problem might be in the specific IE7 version that you are using. Try updating with the latest IE patches and I believe that the problem will be fixed. In any way, the chance such problem to appear with your users is quite small.
