[Solved] Animation Extender With AjaxPanel

Hi,

I have a RAD AJAX panel with an Animation Extender inside... When a button is clicked in the panel the Animation should play whilst the the client is waiting for a reasponse from the server. This works fine inside a normal uppdate panel but fails in the RAD AJAX PANEL...

I don't seem to get any client side or server side errors.

Any suggestions???

Hello Jacques,

I just tested the AJAX Toolkit Extender inside UpdatePanel and RadAjaxPanel, but it works fine in both cases. You can refer to my test sample web site attached to this message. I've used Prometheus Futures we released at the beginning of July.

Does that function properly on your side as well? Can you please elaborate more on the exact problem you experience?

Hi,

Sorry for the slow reply, I've had a bit of a holiday... I've made a little change to the test and added a button to each of the updatepanels and changed the animation to work on the click of a button and told the server to wait for 1000 milliseconds which should allow for the animation to play.

The normal updatepanel works as expected but the RAD panel will only play the animation once.

I'm trying to recreate a simple example of my exact problem. How do I upload a zip? It's probably really obvious but I can't see for looking!
