AjaxManager issue

I have an Ajax manager and a RadComboBox on a page. When the selected value of the Combobox changes the Ajax manager fires and works as it is supposed to. So far so good. But in case the Ajax manager fires for the same value of the Combobox consecutively in a row the code behind function doesn't trigger but still the GUI changes occur but with wrong values. I cant figure out the cause. Any help will be great. I am using version 2009.2.701.35.
