I have a page with an AjaxManager on it.

This page opens a modal RadWindow that displays a page that does not have either an AjaxManager or AjaxManagerProxy on it.

This popup page has a RadMultiPage control on it, one page of which contains a RadUpload control and a RadProgressManager.

When I hit the 'save' button on my popup page, the upload starts but the progress manager doesn't.

I can't figure out why.

I wondered if the controls on my popup page where being ajaxified by default as the result of being called by an ajaxified page and if the fact there were no appropriate AjaxSettings was why the progress manager wasn't appearing? TBH, I don't think it is 'cos I'm pretty sure that the upload wouldn't work if the Upload control was ajaxified.

Thoughts?

Hello Stuart,

I can confirm that the page loaded in the RadWindow is not ajaxified.
I suggest that you try loading it as stand alone page and see if the progress manager works then. Additionally, you can try uploading bigger files, as if the file is too small in size, there might be no time for the progress to show at all.

Best wishes,

Iana,

Thanks for replying.

I tried uploading a 50Mb file and after a long (a good 20 secs or so) the dialog box appeared showing the progress at that point, but it didn't update at all!

Hello Stuart Hemming,

Please try browsing the application from another computer on the local network - I believe the progress area will be shown.

Let us know
