I am using the 2009 Q1 build of the editor control within a DotNetNuke 4.9.3 website.

I added the AJAX Spellchecker button to the editor's toolbar but when I run the site and click on that button, the Finish spellcheking and "Cancel" buttons remain grayed out and I get a javascript error that says:

Cannot
deserialize. The data does not correspond to valid JSON

I've seen other posts on this, and have tried some workarounds, but none correct this issue.

How do I get the spellcheck functionality to work?

Thx,

Jason

Hi Jason,

We think that something is capturing the spellcheck request and the spellchecker does not receive its resources and files. It is possible that there is a server error as well.

Could you please use Fiddler and see what happens with the RadSpell requests when you load the page with the spellchecker?

Kind regards,
