There are a couple of points in the recent beta release this that touch upon some advanced form.js file changes.

If we are using the custom advanced form approach where we downloaded the advanced form from the samples on how to customize the form, how do these updates affect us?

I personally have done a lot of customizing in the advanced form javascript file.
I realize not everything is done in that file. I'm just wondering if anyone can comment on how I might be affected by this if at all. thanks.

Hello Roatin,

The version of the AdvancedForm.js file must match that of the user controls and the Telerik.Web.UI assembly. Indeed, we have been making changes to both the AdvancedForm.js file and the advanced form user controls, so they cannot be used interchangeably across versions. However, the latest demo (SchedulerCustomAdvancedFormQ3_SP1_2009.zip) from the kb article you have used, can be used successfully with both Q3 2009 SP1 and the current version - SP2 (2009.3.1314).

There's no newer version of the Advanced Form to add to said Kb article then?

Hello Roatin,

That's correct. We haven't made changes to AdvancedForm.js, AdvancedForm.ascx, or any of the other user controls for the advanced form of RadScheduler since service pack 1 of Q3 2009.

Do you experience any problems in particular?
