How would you add to the QAT using XML and how you you add items from the Application Toolbar to your QAT?

Hi Michael,

Currently RadRibbonBar doesn't support setting QAT items from XML. However we will consider adding this functionality in some of our future releases.

Hello MIchael,

You can find a detailed explanation of the QuickAccessToolbar in the following help article:
http://www.telerik.com/help/aspnet-ajax/ribbonbarquickaccesstoolbar.html

The main point is - you can't add arbitrary items to it. You can only set which RibbonBar buttons can appear in the QAT.

So...if you use XML to create your Ribbonbar...you cannot use the QAT? Really need to rethink not supporting QAT in XML.

Hi MIchael,

As I mentioned in my previous reply, we will implement this functionality in one of our future release. However at the moment we cannot commit to an exact timeframe.
