Hello,

it 'll be great if telerik can create a component , to export or update a web app by ftp

We click right on the file and the context menu show export or update on the web server.

Same for the bin , and possibilites on the web server to get a telerik dll on download.

thanks

Hi Olivier,

Please note that Visual Studio already has a tool Copy Web Site, the purpose of which is to copy files to a remote server. Could you please elaborate on the advantages that the component you are suggesting would have over Copy Web Site that comes with Visual Studio by default?

Also, you can list tools, similar to the one you mentioned, as examples of the functionality that it should have so that I can get a better understanding of your request.

Regards,

Hi Olivier,

The Copy Web Site functionality can be found in the Website menu of Visual Studio. Please follow the steps in the article that I provided in my previous post and you should find it easily.

There is a tool called Publish Web Site, which is also a part of Visual Studio and simplifies the publishing process a lot. You can locate in the Build menu of Visual Studio, please check the following article for more information on the tool: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/20yh9f1b%28v=vs.100%29.aspx.

Please note that Visual Studio provides build-in tools (Copy Web Site and Publish Web Site) that allow publishing a website out-of-the-box, so for the time being creating additional tool for this purpose will not be required.
