I've installed / uninstalled 2009 Q2 repeatedly.

Followed all the instructions in "Problems during install/uninstall" posting.

And I still cannot get it to install the toolbox items.

At least in the past there was an item in the Start Menu to register /  re-register the toolbox items. Even that is missing now.

How can I get my toolbox items?

Hi apb,

Could you please, try resetting your Visual Studio toolbox after having the RadControls installed? To do this, right-click the toolbox and choose Reset...

Let me shed some light: The "old" toolbox item registration method directly injected the toolbox items to the Visual Studio toolbox. The items often got lost when some third party package/addon was installed, due to the Visual Studio reset.
The new installer now uses a different approach to register the toolbox items. Unfortunately sometimes, due to failure during the uninstall, the "old" method left the toolbox items registered, thus preventing the newly installed items from appearing. To my regret we were not able to identify the circumstances of that failure.

A simple toolbox item reset often fixes the problem though.
