I'm pleased to announce that the upcoming version (Q1 2008) of RadGrid for ASP.NET AJAX (3.5 build) will be extremely  fast. Now the grid can handle for you millions of records in few milliseconds. Small running example can be found here.

Last week we updated the MOSS build of RadEditor to version 4.51. You can get the updates for the lite and full versions from the product page: http://www.telerik.com/products/sharepoint/radeditor.aspx. The most important fix in this release is a server-side exception, which sometimes occurred when opening the built-in Image Manager...

Our good friend Peter Blum recently announced official support for our upcoming RadControls for ASP.NET AJAX (aka "Prometheus"). All customers that are using his Data Entry Suite will be able to integrate validation into the Telerik controls almost invisibly and without much pain and effort.    For those of you that are not familiar with Peter Blum, he is an ASP Insider and the author of the BEST set of validation controls on the market. I don't have any reservations to recommend his products as they are well done, very stable and very well documented.   

After the MIX announcement about IE8 I immediately downloaded the beta to check how RadGrid behaves. Unfortunately, it seems that TABLE elements are not fully implemented and this leads to a lot of issues. If you try to access table rows or tBodies you will get "Unexpected call to method or property access".   For some reason, some of the new properties are prefixed with "ie8_" and I am wondering when they will get an "ie9_" prefix.
