    WinForms Q1 2009 and some RadRibbonBar Sugar

    Now that the latest version of RadControls for WinForms was released, we decided that a blog post about the newly introduced features of the RadRibbonBar will come exactly on time. As many of you know, we worked hard on the implementation of our new and much improved layout system in the RadRibbonBar.     RadControls for Silverlight Q1'09: Theming

    Q1'09 was a huge release for the Telerik Silverlight controls - the Docking, GridView, Chart, MaskedTextBox, Toolbar, and ColorPicker controls are now official. We also shipped the first CTP of the rich text editor for Silverlight - RadEditor. If you missed - we also redesigned our demos application. Not only we shipped all these new controls, but we also spent a lot of efforts to ensure that our themes are with top quality. For all the controls we shipped 3 themes - Vista, Office and Summer. We made the needed adjustments to ensure that they are editable in the latest version of Blend - Blend2SP1. Along with these changes we added styles...

    In case you missed the announcement last week, check out Erjan's blog post  about our new product called RadControls for ASP.NET AJAX VS Extensions  (Click here  to download it). It works with both Visual Studio 2008 and Visual Studio 2005 and expands the capabilities of the IDE by allowing developers to create RadControls  Item templates. RadControls for ASP.NET AJAX VS Extensions using T4 (Text Template Transformation Toolkit) to generate the code behind the scenes when an Item Template is added to a project. T4 is a fully customizable text generator based on templates. Anyone can create or edit such a template...

    RadScheduler for WinForms has learned some nice new tricks

    The long awaited Q1 2009 release is finally out and with it comes a greatly improved version of RadScheduler for WinForms. Among the more interesting new features of RadScheduler are: Multi-day view   Notice how there are two date time intervals shown – (13 – 14 March) and (17 – 19 March). Brand new iCalendar import / export functionality which will allow you to make applications with RadScheduler that can exchange appointment data with Outlook. (Dedicated blog post to follow soon.)
