The new TabbedForm control coming to Telerik UI for WinForms with R1 2019, enables displaying tabs in the title bar of the form, resembling the experience in modern web browsers and providing an easy and fast way to switch between different views of the application. The control offers support for various elements such as icons, buttons and shapes, as well as to define the height of the tabs to have these displayed better. In addition, tabs in the control can be pinned and drag & dropped, where the latter can be used to either reorder the tabs or even open a tab in a separate window. The TabbedForm control includes design-time support making it super easy to add tabs in design time.
Thanks to the newly introduced Bookmarks support in the Telerik UI for WinForms PDFViewer, any PDF files that have bookmarks in them will contain a table-of-contents like navigation, allowing the users to get a hold of what the document contains or to highlight different parts of the document, as well as to easily navigate to a specific part they are interested in.
The FontDropDownList control is the next addition to the already comprehensive Telerik UI for WinForms suite. It enables the end users to easily select a font from the full list of locally installed fonts, much like in MS Word, providing for a familiar and intuitive user experience and fast selection of fonts. The FontDropDownList control comes with an autocomplete functionality, filtering the visible fonts based on the input of the user in the textbox, which can then be selected by either click or hover.
In the R3 2018 release, we introduced a new MacOS-inspired theme to Telerik UI for WinForms. As of R1 2019, we are adding a variation of the theme – Crystal Dark, which on top of providing even more themes at your disposal, some users find puts less strain on the eyes due to a darker palette of colors.
The ButtonTextBox is the third control coming to Telerik UI for WinForms with R1 2019 and is a variation of the TextBox control, which offers the extended functionality to easily embed button elements on either side of the textbox, enabling the user to take additional actions straight from the control.
The TimeSpanPicker control is an editor control enabling the end users of your application to easily pick a specific time span and duration in their desktop application, coming with support for null values, as well as Globalization and Right-to-Left.
You can now add a TimeSpanPicker control into a new column in the grid, which enables the end user to pick a time span and duration straight from the grid.
In addition to adding Charts support to Spreadsheet control, the functionality is also made available into SpreadProcessing, to enable you to add, remove and edit chart objects into spreadsheet documents. The list of supported charts goes from Column, Bar, Line, Pie, Donut, Area and Combo.
