What's Improved
NEW- When Standalone Report Designer for .NET attempts to compile coded reports having higher target framework than the current runtime version, a warning message is displayed.
- Web Report Designer now allows discarding changes when closing a report.
Configuration
FIXED- Types containing User Functions cannot be allowed programmatically.
Standalone Report Designer
FIXED- The paths to the recently used folders are not fully displayed.
Standalone Report Designer for .NET 8 and above
FIXED- Coded reports do not work with .NET 9 projects.
- Coded reports with NuGet package references in the project cannot be opened in SRD.NET.
- SRD.NET does not resolve all dependencies when using coded reports.
Installation
FIXED- A message "Your current license has expired and is not valid for Telerik Document Processing Libraries" appears in the build log when using license for Telerik Reporting.
Rendering
FIXED- Reports with emojis cannot be displayed on Linux when the Skia engine is used.
Image Rendering
FIXED- Border elements are not rendered with fill when using the Skia rendering engine.
PDF Rendering
FIXED- The rendered text in the PDF document is not copied correctly to the clipboard.
- The PDF Accessibility Checker (PAC) shows an error message "Invalid Structure" when loading an accessible PDF generated with Telerik Reporting 2025 Q3.
HTML5 Report Viewer
FIXED- AI Insights button is enabled before the report is fully loaded.
- The method UpdateAIPrompts() in ReportsController is not invoked
- The predefined prompts of the HTML5 report viewer are not updated when switching between reports
- Toggling scale mode with print preview works incorrectly in HTML5 report viewer.
- In FIT_PAGE_WIDTH scale mode, zooming in can actually zoom out in the HTML5 report viewer.
WPF Report Viewer
FIXED- Cannot locate resource 'triallicensewatermark.png' exception when viewer styles are loaded through separate XAML files.
