Does the radButton have some type of mnemonic function?  I tried using the CommandBinding property and it doesn't seem to work.

How do I go about changing the BackColor of the radComboBox?  I tried using the BackColor property but it doesn't change anything.  I am trying to get it to change to one color when it has focus and change back to the default color when it has lost focus.

Hi,

I'm about figuring out how to set the height of a chunk.
For explanation, I want to add a gallery in this chunk and in the gallery
self generated thumbnails of images. All works find, except the default height of the chunk is too small, it shows only the half of one thumbnailrow. If I turn off Autosize, the sitze in its width is no longer adapted to the count of columns. So I can't see the controlelement and also only a part of one thumbnail. Is there a way to set the height and autositze the width ?

many thanks

When I put a Ribbonbar on a form, it has minimize, maximize en close buttons. (Is there a way to get rid of them ??). If I change the form style to ControlBox = False, MinimizeButton = False, MaximizeButton=False to prevent duplicate close buttons, The maximize button of the RadRibbonbar maximizes the form over the XP taskbar !!

Is there a way around this ??

Any help would be appriciated..

This is a weird one.  No matter how I add data to the combo, it is true (binding data, manually adding items, etc).

My problem: I am adding an item to the top of the list (text is "(unspecified)" and value is 0) and then setting the selected index property to point to this item.  Ok, all is good so far.

Using autocomplete, I can select the item if another item is selected.  Still good.

The user clicks the button and drops the list down.  If that item (unspecified) is current the selected item, there is no highlight on the item in the list - the highlight is on the next item in the list.  If the user scrolls up and down through the list, the item disappears although there appears to be a blank spot where the item used to be.  And no matter what, you absolutely cannot click on the item (visible or not) to select it.  When I manually add this RadComboBoxItem, I set the enabled property for the item to true just in case.

This happens whether I step through the data table and manually add items or whether I bind the data table to the combo.  No matter what I do, the first item is just not selectable from the drop down list but can be selected ONLY if the list is not dropped and autocomplete is on suggest-append.

So what am I missing here?

I want no item of the tabstrip to be selected on form load and the selection would be by click of mouse only.
In the web application, i could mention selectedindex=-1 in the aspx for the RadTabStrip.
In Forms Appn, if i try something like
TabStrip1.SelectedTab = TabStrip.items.item(-1), it throws an exception as i tried to access a tab with -1 index, which is not available.
Is there an alternative to achieve the above?

I guess Hierarhcical TabStrip would be available with the next months release of RadControls for winforms.
[It would be great if there is unSelectChildren property in the release, similar to Asp.net RadTabStrip.]

Thanks
Mukunda.

Dear All,

I'm playing with the Tabbed document example of RadControlsWinforms_Q4_2006_SP1 and found a strange thing.
If there are a few tabbed documents then i can use the dropdown and close button. When i add a lots of documents that overlap buttons, then it's not possible to click on the buttons.

Hi,

Checked the docs, but there is no real details on how to implement Contextual Groups for the Ribbon Bar.

How can this be implemented programmatically? (C#)

Many thanks

Hi Telerik

I use the PanelBar as a Outlook 2007 control.
In Outlook 2007, the selected panel is highlighted (at bottom), using a red/yellow color.

In Telerik PanelBar the same effect occurs at mouseover on the PanelBarGroupElementInfo.

Is there a way to change the color on the selected PanelbarGroupElementInfo ? (I would like the same behaviour as in Outlook 2007)

Kind regards
