Hi,

I have set the BackColor of the RadTabStrip to (228, 238, 250), and it works in the Designer. This even produces the code in InitialiseComponent():

this.radTabStrip.BackColor = System.Drawing.Color.FromArgb(((int)(((byte)(228)))), ((int)(((byte)(238)))), ((int)(((byte)(250)))));

Yet, when I Build and Run, the colour changes in the designer and at runtime to ControlLightLight.

Any ideas?

RadGridView with a BindingList as the DataSource

I am new to the radGridView. I usually write web applications, but now I am writing a winForms application. I decided to use the Telerik tools because of my experience with them on web apps.

So here is what I am doing...
I have a radGridView that has a BibdingList<People> for the datasource. This works great in the grid. I have some fields on the page that let you add a Person to the List. It correctly gets added to the grid, but the grid now has a vertical scrollbar even though there are only two items in it. There is also only one item visible, but I can scroll up to see the other row. The grid is sized big enough to show about 40 items.

I added this code radGridView1.GridElement.ScrollToRow(0); to force it to scroll ot the top. This works except that every time you add an item to the list, you see the vertical scrollbar flash on then off really fast because of the way the item is added then the code forcing it to the top.

I am sure there is a property that I have set wrong, but I am at a loss for where to go.

cusor disappears while moving the mouse over the text box with PasswordChar as "*"

Hi All,

I have a radTextBox whose "PasswordChar" property is set to and asterik "*".
When i run the application and bring the cursor to the text box, the cursor disappears which really confuses the user.
Can you please tell me the reason behind this and what can be done to make the cursor blink in the text box while the focus is on it?

Issue In Radgridview Pinned Column During Horizontal Scrolling!

I am new to using this control set, I tried using RadGridview control with a single pinned column. The pinned column works fine except when I try scrolling horizontal to the right it seems that rest of the column data overlays the pinned column. Is anyone able to provide feedback on this issue.

Hi,

Entering break mode failed for the following reason: Source file D:\documents and settings\admin\Desktop\telerik\final\radcontrols\radcontrolsDocking\XmldockingManager.cs' does not belong to the project being debugged.

Usually, this condition occurs when the project was not rebuilt prior to starting the debugging session, when the assembly file for the project is out of date, or when the project source files were moved to a different disk location between the time the project was build and the debugging session was started.

Edit and Continue will be disabled for this debugging session.

How to prevent typing on the combobox

RadGridView Header Text Grouping

How do I create a group by expression string where the Header Text doesn't include datafield from the group by? Is this possible? I tried this with your RadGridView Grouping example and it does not work. I tried adding City, and Country but is doesn't display. Please help

Tree control hosted in Winform control in IE

I have a winform control I am hosting in IE. When the control loads initially the tree view works great. When I navigate away from the page and then go back and the control reloads I get an error message of 'Object reference not set to an instance of an object' The radtree control builds fine, meaning the nodes appear with the correct child nodes but when I got to drag and drop the child nodes I get the error. When I close the IE window and re open it the control works fine until I navigate away from the page and then go back (in the same session). Can anyone help with this??
