I'm getting the below error when closing a form (in the Visual Studio IDE) that is using your docking manager:

"The control Telerik.WinControls.Docking.DockPresenterControl has thrown an unhandled exception in the designer and has been disabled."

"Exception: Error creating window handle"

What might be causing this?  Is happening in VS2005 & VS2008 versions of my project.

Thanks,
Brad

Hi!

I had the same problem. (see my previous post "Error at design time")
This error has already been fixed in latest version of Telerik Controls for WinForms.
Download the latest version (2007 Q2), uninstall the old verion and install the new one. The problem will disappear!

Best regards and merry Christmas!

Hi Lorenzo,

I am currently using the latest version of the controls, Q3 2007.

I also had this problem in the Q2 2007 version.  And I was using the latest version of those until Q3 was released.

Regards,
Brad

Hi Brad,

This issue is already fixed in Q3, and you should not experience similar problems with the latest version. Could you please check whether your GAC is clean from old versions of our controls? I am attaching a sample project referencing version Q3 and there is no undesired behavior. If you still experience problems, open a support ticket and send us a sample project, accompanied by instructions on how to reproduce the issue.

If we could be of your further assistance, do not hesitate to contact us.

I guess I will have to open a support ticket because the problem is not related to the GAC!

It only occurs when I have tabbed dock panels.  I will send you a project to demonstrate the error...

Brad
