I posted this last week and it seems it dissappeared for some reason.
So I have a GridView for Winforms control on a form that refreshes the dataset every 3 minutes. Randomly during the day my users are reporting that the entire GridView control turns white and there is a red X in the control. This is the entire GridView control's canvas. Very wierd. This is the error that the user's receive:
(There is a checkbox column in the Master template, this is not a hierarchical dataset. It is flat.)

Is it possible to create the x-axis labels from a date column in my dataset? I have a date set where I want to return a series of dates, and some associated values, i.e.a structure such as;
Selecteddate (date)
Somevalue1 (int)
Somevalue2 (int)
What I'd like to show is the series of dates along the x-axis, and my values plotted above those. Although I can sort them, I won't know how many value sets (rows) I will have in advance, or if the dates are evenly spaced (i.e. there might be gaps in dates).
Is this possible? Thanks in advance for any assistance.

Hello,
I am using the trial version for evaluation purpose. I clicked on the smart tag in a rad grid view and used the theme builder to change gridGroupExpandercellelement's SignStyle property to PlusMinus. And i saved the theme in a new xml and i gave the theme a name. Then dragged a radthememanager and loaded my newly created theme and in the smart tag of the gridview i loaded my theme. But some the expander still shows the arrow sign rather than the plus sign that i wanted. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello there!
Maybe my question is a basic one or not, but I would like to know if it is anyway possible to have the Calendar control to act similarly to the Scheduler ASP.NET Ajax control.
Here we would very much like that kind of functionality in our application, but it seems that the Calendar simply doesn't cut it.
Do we have to program the features needed or is there anyway we may customize it to do this?

We are using the dock manager in a new application and have some concerns with performance due to the code being run multiple times in the Activated event of the UserDockForm. We have looked through the forums and documentation to get a better understanding what triggers the "Activated" event, but are not having much luck.
Below is the code being used to create the dock form, and the activated event code. Any help on why this event is fired 3 tiems would be greatly appreciated, and if we should be using a different event let us know.

I am in the process of analysing as to which third party control might suit my company. I have a few questions. It would be great if i can find some help.
1.)Does Radcontrols for Winforms .NET 3.5 compiled?
2.)Does the rad grid view support hosting smart parts? We are planning to host a smart part(CAB-SCSF) in child relation within a master detail hierarchical grid view.

Hi I am currently in the process of evaluating RadControls for winforms. I had a question regarding the MDI. I am asked to develop an application, where the user can have mabe a column on the left, and is able to drag those windows onto the main screen for the preferred layout and size. So basically what i am trying to do is enable docking in the left column, as well as the right side display of the screen seperately using DockPanels. As right now, once the form loads, the docking can be set either for just the column, or stretched to the entire form. How could I achieve the desired effect? thanks in advance, any help would be appreciated.

Perhaps is a very stupid thing and with a single property I can solve this problem, anyway I don't find that property!!! I want to have the possibility to make the text of the radcomboboxItem readonly in that way the user can choose the item but can't change the text of the Item.
Is that possible?
