Hi Team,

I am wondering how to save the layout changes made by the User on Grid on winforms and load the same settings for next run?

Hello Nilesh,

Thank you for your question.

Currently we do not support this feature, but it is a nice idea. We will do our best to implement layout saving for RadGridView in our next version, due in September.

I have updated your Telerik points for this request.

All the best,

Has this been implemented in 2007 Q2?

No, Magnus, we did not manage to implement this feature, to our greatest regret. The Save/Load grid layout feature is in our TODO list with high priority and will be available as soon as possible.

We are sorry for the inconvenience.

Kind regards,

Hi Evtim,

you wrote:

so, was the priority high enough to fix this issue in in Q3?

Hello Laurin,

Thank you for the question.

Yes, since Q1 2008 RadGridView supports saving grid layout. You should use the SaveLayout and LoadLayout methods of RadGridView. Take a look at the "Save/Load Layout" example in our QSF. For more information on the introduced product features, please review the Release History

Do not hesitate to contact us if you have other questions.
