Is there a way to use icons larger than 16x16 pixels on the RadToolStrip for Winforms?  If so, how is that done?

I want to hide columns in child grid view which is in bound mode and want to keep when I reassign new datasource to grid(Master and Child). Where do I write a code for that?

Hi,

I have a problem when re-loading a radgridview with a new dataset where I am unable to clear the selected rows.
So if row 3 is selected in the grid, I reload the dataset and set it as the Datasource for the grid. The grid reflects the changed data. I call RadGridView.SelectedRows.Clear(), but row 3 remains selected (at least it remains highlighted)
I have tried clearing the seleced rows before loading the new dataset and afterwards, but it doesn't seem to make any difference.

I am using Q2 2008 SP1, having just upgraded from Q3 2007

Is there a solution to this?

Thankyou.

Hi,

I've got one little (not that important) problem and a Question for theming the RadGrid.

The problem: I've set a Style XML in a RadThemeManager like this "~\Style.xml". This all works fine as it searches the XML in the executable directory. However when I start Visual Studio the ~ points to the Folder where the VisualStudio exe is and gives me a messagebox that it couldn't finde the Style.xml at C:\Program Files\..

The Question: How do i style the custom filter dialog? I cannot find it within the Visual Style builder ant it looks horrible when I have to use that blueish collor with our Design.

Thanks very much.

Hi there.

Is there a way to wire up the standard CTRL+A (select all) to select all rows (Given, that row-multiselect is enabled, of course)?

I was expecting this to be a standard-feature but I am sure that it can be "imitated" quite easily. It would be great to learn how to do this with the GridView.

Thanks,
Elmar

...and once it is finally found, documentation does not make sense. How for example is this software installed on a local Vista IIS7 development machine?

hello,
Me again, having trouble with the dogkingManager
I have my 3 documentPane in my dockingManager.
And I have the event DockingManger_DockTabChanged(...) with the code:

dim MyDockingManager as Docking.DockingManager = sender
msgBox (MyDockingManager.ActivateDocument.Text)

Isn't this event similar to DockingManager_DockTabChanging(...)?
Is it normal?: it doesn't displays  the selected tabbedDocument
It always displays the one that has been "deactivated".
How can i have the real selected Tabbeddocument? (without having to go through the documentPane_activate event)
thanx,
Shirya
(Hope I'm clear--> english isn't my native language)

I want to add filtering to my code to change the display of my grid.  I believe the FilterExpression is what I need.  However, I must be missing a reference as when I implement what is in the examples, the system does not recognize the command.

I have noticed this about all of the support topics.  There is never any referencing/imports information included.  Is that, perhaps, because it is located somewhere else?  I would think it critical information so maybe I just don't know where to go to get that information.

Thanks
Tony

Hi,

I've been using the asp.net controls for years with great success and now trying to use the winForm controls.  But have hit a snag that should be simple and I must be missing something.

I originally posted a more complex message about setting the size and location of a programatically created radChart.  I found the height/width settings so can now change the size.  Now just need to figure out how to set the location to anchor the chart at to a specific coordinate on the form (like at 4, 44).  All the properties that are intuitive are read-only.

Such as position.x & y, location.x & y, etc..

None of the sample code seems to set the location of the chart.  Placing a chart on the form is easy enough, but that causes other problems with updating and combining chart types.

Any pointers are appreciated.

Hi,

After a windows docking panel has been docked and a bar has appeared which enables someone to slide the panel back out, it's actually too small for touch screens.  Is there any way I can increase the size of this?

I have my slide bar for a docked panel on the left of the screen but it's too small for a touch screen.  I need a wider bar to allow for fat fingers.  There doesn't appear to be a property to change this.  If this is the case then I may include my own strip with buttons that activate the docking panel behind but this seems a bit cumbersome.

Thanks
