Hi,

I am New to scheduler and i don't have idea how to use this control. i tried to bind the datasource to scheduler but then i came to know datasource cannot be assigned. we have to map and can assign only scedulerdatasource. My question is how shall i bind the details from my database to the scheduler? as we do in case of grids,Dropdown list. For eg: GridView.DataSource=ds.Tables[0];

The problem of AllowColumnChooser issue

I can set the value of "false" to the property of AllowColumnChooser in the MasterGridViewTemplate,but it impacts for the all columns in the RadGridView,I can't find the method to set it for each unique column,
how can I set it for each column ? I need your help to solve this problem for me.

PS:The version of the RadControls what I use is "Winforms Q1 2008 SP1"

Passing the name of the selected tab to a new form

I know how to get the name of the selected tab, but how do I pass the name of the selected tab to a new form. It's kepps coming up as null. I'm using VB.NET

Customizing RadGridView Visual Style Builder

Hi,

Im using Q3 2008 Telerik and I need to customize the RadGridView using Visual Style Builder. I want to adjust the height of the Rows and the Columns. I can do it using this code: (radgridview.GridElement as GridTableElement).RowHeight = 10; but I need to do it using Visual Style Builder but i am having trouble using it because for some reason i cant view the adjustments i made unlike when i did the RadTabStrip. I need help. And can you add the code where i can adjust the height of the columns just in case? Thanks!

RadComboBoxElement & autocomplete

I use a Radcomboxelement on my toolbar as a staff filter. The combobox contains a large number of staff names and a "All" option. I've set it up to use autocomplete AppendSuggest.

The problem lies when after the user selects a specific staff and then wants to go back to the "All" option. Rather than scroll back up to the top, they want to the just clear the comboxbox text.

In the past, when I used the regular windows toolbar combobox, there's a "Leave" event that I can use to check the value of the combobox text and if it's blank, I'll set the selectedindex to the "all" option.

Unfortunately, the RadComboBoxElement class does not inherit from Control so it doesn't have this event.

Any suggestions?

Cancel Cell or Row selection

Hi,

I'm trying to cancel row selection event. How can i do it?

Because when SelectionChanged event is fired, I can't cancel the event.
I tried to do something like

State Tabs don't display right

When I select an item in the ControlStrucure's TreeView, the State tabs at the bottom do not display unless I maximize/restore the VSB window. Really frustrating, since the window itself takes forever and a day to repaint itself.

Image File Browser won't work

Using RadControls for WinForms Q2 2007.

In Visual Style Builder, when selecting the ",,," for the Image property of an ImagePrimitive, it no longer works! It just sits there. It used to work and just stopped all of a sudden. Recently it came back, but then it stopped working again. What's causing this and how can I get it back?

I thought the VS preferences might have something to do with it, but they don't appear to. Please help. Thank you.
