Hi.
Can you tell me how can I change the title of menu entries that shows up when a user clicks on a QuickAccessToolbar drop-down arrow, on the right of the toolbar?
I would like to translate them from English to some other language(s).
So that, depending on the language settings, it won't show "Show Below the Ribbon" and "Minimize the Ribbon".
I'm using VS2005 Pro and Q2 2008 SP1.

This control seem's to be deactivated on my form. Even when i set the focus on, nothing seem's to change, it remains grey. Is this the normal style? If yes how can i set the style so it is like a normal control ie : when focused the selected text is blue and so on...

Some where long the line, I've read that the Q3 release of winforms would have a common theme to all controls, besides the ControlDefault one.
My question is how, if so, has this been implemented? All the themes available have properties to work on every control?

Hi,
I am binding my GridViewLookupColumn in the grid with 3 values, and I need to make one of them as the default value, say I want to bind the text "Please Select" as the default, so that the user can come to know that he has to select a value from the cell. How do I do this?

Hi,
I'm having a GridViewTextBoxColumn in my rad gridview. Based on the value entered by the user in the cell, I perform some validations. If the validation fails, I need to set focus to the cell in which the user entered the value, which I'm unable to do. Please suggest some solutio to this.

I have 2 issues related to radgridview summary
1- How can I change the style of SummaryRowsBottom (eg. text alignment , backColor,ForColor etc.)
2- How can I show Grandtotal ,
When i using something like :
dim si as New GridViewSummaryItem("Col", "{0}", GridAggregateFunction.Sum)
sr.Add(si)
si = New GridViewSummaryItem("Col2", "{0}", GridAggregateFunction.First)
sr.Add(si)
RadGridView1.MasterGridViewTemplate.SummaryRowsBottom.Add(sr)
it's working fine either as subtotal ( for each group ) Or for all as grandtotal if there is no group ,
But what about if I want Both !! ( SubTotal for each group and Sum for all In the Last row of grid)

Hi,
In you documentation you suggest binding the object being described by the node to the Tag property. I wonder if this could be taken one step further for those of us who are using data binding and automatically bind objects contained in an Array or List to the Tag? This feature would of course have to be able to be turned on and off. If you didn’t want to auto link it to the Tag creating a new property would also be cool.

I have a derived RadTreeNode. And in the ValueValidating event of Rad treeview, I am moving my derived RadTreeNode, based on the text entered, if validation was successful.
But moving the RadTreeNode causes a Null reference exception in RadTreeView.EndEdit(bool). I am not sure when the EndEdit gets called internally to the RadTreeview, but I guess it doesnt like the Treenode being moved in ValueValidating when it was successful.( I dont get the exception when i dont move the node).
Previously, I was able to do the same with TreeView in AfterLableEdit, with out any problem, I was moving the tree node in AfterLableEdit event. but when I change my code to RadTreeView ValueValidating and Edited events, I couldnt move the nodes in ValueValidating event.
Any help is highly appreciated.

I have just a quick question: is there any way to eliminate the RadForm's RadTitleBar so that I can use the RadRibbonBar with it? The RadForm would be a much better alternative to the ShapedForm that I'm currently using, but only if there is some way to have a proper-looking RibbonBar with it!
