Hi all,
I have a grid column and an edit field below the grid, both binding to the same property.
If that property has an invalid value (here: empty), the grid tooltip shows the error message twice.
Any chance to stop that ?
Regards,
Marco

Hi Marco,
Could you confirm version of the Telerik controls you use? Is it our latest official Q2 2012 version?
Kind regards,

Hello Marco,
I've tried to reproduce the problem locally but to no avail. Can you send me more details how do you perform validation?

Hi All,
Did you ever manage to sort this out? I'm having the same problem on the latest version of telerik controls (V. 2014.2.729.45).

Hi Daryl,
Basically, the reason for displaying two duplicate validation messages would be the usage of two validation methods. As it turns out we cannot suggest differently based on the available information.
In case it is not this, may I ask you to isolate the problem in a sample project and send it to us?
That way we will check it locally and we could advise further.

Dimitrina
