I have a report that is generated and working as I would like it to, however, I am looking to allow the user at runtime to change the parametersand refresh the data.  It appears that it is possible, however, I am not seeing any detail on how it is to work.

I've tried setting "ParametersAreaVisible" to true as well as "ShowParamtersButton" to true.  But I don't see any interface for the user.  Can this be done?

Hello Mitchel,

In order to view and interact with the report parameters in the parameter area at runtime, you need to set the parameters Visible property to True as shown here.

Have you tried the new visualization options in Telerik Reporting Q2 2013? You can get them from your account.

This has helped, BUT now I have an issue with mapping these parameters to my actual parameters in the SQL Data Source.

My SQL Data Source has two parameters, but the "Report" didn't have one.

I added the two parameters to the report, but I cannot figure out how to tie it all together.  ANy pointers?

Hi Mitchel,

Your approach is correct. You need to add parameters to the report and then tie them together with the parameters in the SQL data source. There is a help article with examples for this approach, which is available in the following articles:

Please let me know if you need additional assistance.
