Unable to choose Stored Procedure - Standalone version

We recently upgraded to standalone version 8.1.22.622. 

Using the Edge browser, we can choose one of 7 stored procedures. 

Using Internet Explorer, we cannot see or select any of these 7.  In fact, it looks like well over half of the stored procedures are not selectable.

Why is the difference between the two browsers?

We prefer using IE because we don't have to download the designer link.  I myself have not found an add-in that works correctly.

According to this post https://www.telerik.com/forums/sql-stored-procedure-not-recognized-as-datasource there is some issue with temp tables in stored procedures.  But that post is from 2014. 

If I open the older version of standalone in either Edge or Internet Explore then all stored procedures are selectable.

Hello Curtis,

If I understood correctly, you use the Telerik Report Server version R2 2022 SP1 (8.1.22.622).

Do you mean that you use the Standalone Report Designer that may be downloaded from the Report Server? If so note that it is a desktop application that doesn't depend on the browser. That said there shouldn't be any difference in which browser you have downloaded it. The designer connects to the Report Server and utilizes its data connections to establish a connection to the database and fetch the schema, stored procedures, data, etc.

Regarding the issue with temp tables, it is explained in the KB article Configuring Stored Procedure with Temporary Tables. It is also independent of the browser though.

For further troubleshooting, you may attach Trace Listener to both the designer and the Report Server Manager. Here are the resources that explain how you may do this:

We're having multiple problems with the report designer.  I cannot access some stored procedures and cannot use existing data connections at times.   Below is the version we're using.  Is there someone that I can call and talk to?

Hi Curtis,

I suggest opening a Support Ticket and sharing the Trace Listener logs I requested previously in the new support thread. Currently, the available information doesn't let me diagnose the issue.
