when moving the mouse above the datapoint of the chart, the tooltip will be  display in the right or up position,

and then if moving mouse to the right or up,if the mouse is above the tooltip area,
the mouse can't perceivel the next datapoint of chart, unless the mouse leave the tooltip area.
if the tooltip area don't effect the mouse check the other datapoint,so that switch to the other tooltip info,
it will be better.

Hi Wu,

The tooltip is shown only when a series point is hovered. If the mouse is above the tooltip, it isn't possible to detect a series data point hover. You can try to change the tooltip position, so the user cannot hover it accidentally. There are different ways to do that but it depends on the type of tooltip that you are using. If you'd like me to give you some suggestions, please share your current tooltip configuration.

I only give a suggestion,I think it is better if realize the function!
You can test the network site:
     https://demos.devexpress.com/ASPNetCore/Demo/Charts/Overview/
when the mouse above the tooltip,it can check the under datapoint, and refresh the tooltip
if there is a column bar under the tooltip area,Like the tooltip area is transparent.

Hello Wu,

Thank you for your feedback and link. I see that the tooltip there is implemented by rendering a wrapper element with minimal height and adding content that overflows this element, thus making it possible to hover points under the visible tooltip.

The current implementation of the Kendo UI Tooltip doesn't support this but if you could open a feature request in the feedback portal, we can see what is the user interest in such addition. If many customers request it, the development team could consider changing the current implementation.
