There is no visual indication of any sort to show which of the tabs you are currently viewing.  This can be seen on your tabstrip demo page where it's not easy to tell when you click a city if that click actually worked or which city you are looking at when the page loads.

Getting Started - TabStrip - Kendo UI for Angular (telerik.com)

This is in contrast with the material design spec examples for tabs seen at the link below where the selected tab is underlined and has a distinct font color.

H Noah,

Thanks for the provided information and links.

We are aware of this issue and our dedicated developers have made a dev version release that resolves the bug. The dev version can be found on the following link:

https://www.telerik.com/kendo-angular-ui-develop/components/layout/tabstrip/#toc-basic-usage

The official version will be released around the 15th of September and it can be tracked exactly when it is released in our Kendo Layout Backlog.

Until the official version arrives, I'll advise you to use the Kendo Themes v4.38.1 as there the Kendo Tabstrip is working as expected or to try the dev version of the Layout package:

https://www.telerik.com/kendo-angular-ui/components/installation/development-builds/

Please accept our apologies for the inconvenience.

Regards,
Stoyan
