Hi,
I apologize if I missed answer to this somewhere, but I have to provide quick answer to my superiors.
We plan to start migrating from Kendo UI for JQuery to Angular, and one of key widgets is Gantt chart.
Is there plan to implement gantt chart to Angular at all, and if yes, what could be provisional time for this.
Thank you very much
Best regards,
Vedad

Hi Vedad,
Please take a look at our Kendo UI for Angular Roadmap to stay updated with the new features/components. At this moment, the Angular Gantt Chart is not a part of our immediate plans.
Please vote and follow this feature request to receive future updates pertaining to the Angular Gantt Chart.
As a workaround, you can use the jQuery Gantt Chart by integrating it in the Angular application as described in this article.
Additionally, to receive a faster turnaround (within 24 hrs for Kendo UI Priority Support) in the future, you can also create a Support Ticket instead of a Forum post.
I hope this information helps. Please let me know if I can further assist you.

Hi Hetali,
Thank you for your answer. I am following roadmap indeed, but as there was no info about this, I asked this way.
On the other side, I am aware of possibility to use jquery gantt, but I would like to minimize (actually avoid completely) usage of jquery in Angular, as this is generally recommendation.
I was just trying to get at least vague idea when we could expect it, so we can make migration plan for our app.
Thanks for pointing me out for Support Ticket as well.
Thank you very much.
Best regards
Vedad
Hello Vedad,
The Angular Gantt component feature is unplanned which is why I am unable give you an estimate. However, if the status of the feature changes in the near future (i.e. if the feature is under review or in development), you will get a notification if you follow the request.
For now, using the jQuery Gantt chart is the only workaround.
If you need assistance with the jQuery Gantt chart in the Angular application, please let me know. I will be happy to help.

Hetali

Hi Hetali,
Thank you very much. If gantt chart is not available by the time it comes to order to implement it, I will contact you.
By then, there are other things we can implement before.
Thanks and best regards,
Vedad
