I would like to make a request for more built-in themes. Ideally, I would like to see a good 20 or 30 of them to choose from instead of 4. I know it just came out, so I'm glad it at least has four, but I'd rather not have to sit in Blend and mess around with customizing the template unless I really have to. It looks like with templates, you can basically do anything you want with the chart...the xaml just really gets complicated (I'm no wpf expert yet though, so maybe it is just a learning curve I need to get over).
On a side note, my post about hiding the legend just disappeared completely from the forum. Also, subscribing to threads seems to not work. Maybe the new website changes caused some glitches.

I have a similar impression.
I thought that using these controls would save me a lot of time, but to be honest, the time spent styling and fiddling with XAML styles and resources are probably costing me more in terms of time/money that to do the whole thing myself (I'm not using most of the controls anyway)
So I would like to +1 the request for more Themes, as at the moment these are not 'Rapid Application Development controls' unless you're doing throw-away stubs/prototypes and proof-of-concept type projects.
Should we expect to see these any time soon?
