Hello,

We need a reporting tool with the ability to report across multiple distinct cube data sources into a single cumulative report.  Our current tools can only target a single cube at a time.  They are the premade cubes from TFS and we don't want to create any new data structures.  Is this possible with Telerik reporting?

Thanks!

Hello Max,

OLAP cubes are supported in Telerik Reporting via the CubeDataSource Component. The CubeDataSource component enables data items to retrieve data from an OLAP cube using Microsoft Analysis Services with little or no extra code. CubeDataSource uses the ADOMD.NET client data provider internally to connect to Microsoft Analysis Services and execute an MDX query against the desired OLAP cube. The returned result set can be visualized directly by the Report itself or using a Table/Crosstab report item.

You can add multiple CubeDataSource components to a single report and use them to show data in different data items. A demo of the Reporting suite can be downloaded from this page, so you can try out the described scenario.
