Hello, we have a bunch of users stored in our Postgresql, I would like to ask on how to connect it in our TRS users so that I wouldn't manually create them inside the TRS and how to change the connection string of the reports and also the Report Title  base on user.

Hi Everyone,

we are running a Report server Version: 6.1.20.513

It was working just fine.

Now when we try to create a new schedule for a report, it fails.

Exploring the browser network log it shows that

https://<my_server>/Scheduling/Create fails with 406Not Acceptable

Any help would be much appreciated.

I have updated Telerik Reporting Server on one server and installed it on another server so both servers are running the same version.

On the server I updated under the configuration/designer menu option there is a check box for "Enable Web Report Designer (experimental)" where on the new install the option is "Enable Web Report Designer" is no longer "experimental" why am i seeing this difference with the same versions?

Hi,

We are experiencing problems with a Report Server installation seemingly because of a date/time formatting issue.

This issue is manifesting in two ways:

  1. Scheduled reports are not generated and sent out
  2. Upon accessing Configuration the ReadQueuedTasks keeps producing an "Internal Server" message box to the extent that the browser needs to be closed.

Going to the ReadQueuedTasks endpoint produces the error as per attachment

Format in Report Server is M/dd/yyyy

OS format:

  • Short date format was changed from yyyy/MM/dd to match the Report Server format as indicated above.
  • Long date format is yyyy/MM/dd

My guess is that this is a date stored in the configuration of the scheduled reports that needs to be changed or updated manually. Unfortunately I do not know where this can be done.

Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks,

Johann

Good Morning,

We started getting this error return when sending an email, any configuration in IIS that needs to be done?

System: Telerik Report Server

406 - Client browser does not accept the MIME type of the requested page.

The page you are looking for cannot be opened by your browser because it has a file name extension that your browser does not accept.

Email configuration:

SMTP host: smtp.office365.com
Port: 587
Use secure connection: Yes

Hi Telerik

We have report with database connection string is parameter. We are using Angular + Asp.net core rest api and telerik reporting view.

So when i sending my sensitive parameters to trdp i don't want to send clear text data. Instead of this is it possible to send encrypted data to asp.net core rest api and decrypt these parameters then send them to the trdp reports??

there is no any sample to access and change the parameters on rest api layer

Do you have any suggession ?

Thanks

Hi, may I know what's the current status on multi-tenancy in TRS? like a roadmap about multi-tenancy, I wanna know when will this be implemented or what's the plan. I tried to check it in the page but I don't see the roadmap there regarding on this.

Hi, I would like to know how to show the null value from the database as parameter without the conflict of TRS null filter.

Here is my current problem right now;

In my PostgreSql table, I have a status column where it has a null value ( Activated, Pending, blank value[null] ), I don't have a problem showing the Activated and Pending data when I filter them but if I choose the null value which is supposedly it should show the blank status instead it will show all status, Its like a no filter in its parameter.

What should be the best approach here? I read about multi-value parameter but I'm not quite sure about it.

Hello, I have multiple TRS running on our server, each TRS has different database connected to Microsoft SQL Server. Is it okay to reuse the first TRS that I made? what I did was I just changed the connection string redirected to another database. Basically, I just made a copy of my first TRS and created a new TRS web on IIS but connected to another database. I did succeed running multiple TRS on different database and different port number on the URL. The only problem that I noticed was the scheduling function in my other TRS because even though I set everything right, it doesn't work. My first instance of TRS scheduling function is working fine but the rest of my other TRS(scheduling function) running on our server won't work. I'm quite confused why the first TRS working so fine while other TRS has a problem on sending scheduled report, What seems the problem here?
