Hi all,

I couldn't think of a better wording for the post, so I'll try to explain a little better.  Simply put, when displaying a RadWindow, whose contents contains a splitter that scrolls content, and that content includes a RadListBox, we're seeing that, instead of the RadListBox staying in its original position, the RadListBox will scroll along.  I believe through my debugging, I've more or less ruled out it being an issue that is restricted to our application.  If the behavior cannot be easily reproduced, I can provide an example.

This looks to be tied to IE7 vs IE8.  In IE8, the positioning is fine.  However, in compatibility mode and/or normal IE7, this behavior occurs.  Also, occurs with both the SP1 and SP2 Q3 2009 releases.

Thanks a lot,
Adam.g

Hello Adam,

I believe that the following KB article will be of help:
http://www.telerik.com/support/kb/aspnet-ajax/splitter/radsplitter-integration-with-relatively-positioned-elements.aspx

If you still experience problems after that, please open a support ticket and send us a sample project so we could investigate further.

Best wishes,

I thought I had seen that information somewhere, I just didn't remember where.
This works great for me in IE 6-8 and Chrome.  The second option worked the best for me.

As an aside, since the current article does not mention the RadListBox as a problem area, it might be pertinent to update the wording to include it, for those who may dismiss the information for lack of perceived applicability.

Thanks a lot,

You are welcome Adam,

And thank you for the feedback - I added RadListBox to the list of controls in the KB.
