Hi,

Look on the location of placeholder.

Thanks,
<telerikMauiControls:RadEntry  x:Name="txtName" Placeholder="Name" WidthRequest="200"  />

You have already reported this in another thread, Daniel. Please avoid posting multiple posts of the same content, we keep track of everything. Specifically in this situation, you have an official bug Report that you are already following https://feedback.telerik.com/maui/1558662

Note: In case you weren't sure, this is actually the same internal component for both.

This the new Rad Entry.

I though it is different.

This is fundamentally a feature request to be able to change the Placholder's VerticalTextAlignment rather than a bug (it works as expected when you do not alter the default height).

In case case, I agree that this should be separately tracked, so I have opened a new issue so that you can track any progress https://feedback.telerik.com/maui/1559561. You will automatically be notified when there are changes.

Possible Workaround

If I make the RadEntry larger than it is supposed to be and set the VerticalTextAlignment to Start, you'll see the Placeholder is top-left aligned:

Then, if you enter text... it will be aligned with the Placeholder.

Unfortunately, you cannot move the Placeholder's position. So using top-left position is the only option I can suggest at this time.

No answers yet. Maybe you can help?
